Belle Vue House is located on a quiet one way street only a few yards away from the main shopping area where there are numerous pubs and restaurants as well as several art galleries and antique shops. There are frequent buses to Carmarthen, Llandovery, Swansea and Llanelli and the town is on the Heart of Wales Railway.

The house is extremely spacious and full of historic character, retaining many of its original features such as window shutters to ground floor bays and upstairs bedrooms, decorative coving and alcoves, and period oak staircase.The ground floor windows overlook a large secluded garden and there are stunning views over the town and along the Towy Valley from the upstairs windows.




The accommodation is on two floors and can sleep 5 in great comfort.(An additional Z bed can be provided on request).

The accommodation comprises of
  • Large lounge with satellite TV, video, DVD, CD player.
  • Large dining room (seats 8) with games table and a fine collection of books, magazines and board games.
  • Large Kitchen with TV and dining table. Appliances include fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven and microwave
  • Three bedrooms, double (king size bed) with TV, twin bedroom with TV and single bedroom.
  • Large bathroom with both shower and bath and walk in airing cupboard.
  • Accommodation on the third floor is now also available and comprises of bedroom with double bed and bunk beds (sleeps total of 4) and with its own private bathroom/toilet. (Please note that the Welsh Tourist Board star rating is pending for this floor).

Facilities in the house include gas central heating, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric oven, food mixer, toaster, microwave, electric iron, vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials. The kitchen leads to a small enclosed courtyard with washing line.

Electricity, gas and water are all metered and are charged at the prevailing standard rate.

Duvets and bed linen are provided, but please bring own towels and tea towels if possible. There will be a small additional charge if these are to be provided.

There is ample secure private parking available in front of the house and guests are welcome to make use of the large, mature enclosed garden with lawn, fruit trees (please help yourself), summer house and garden furniture. A BBQ is also provided.

Usual change over day is Saturday, but other days and shorter stays may be possible. Please arrive after 3pm and vacate by 10am, this can also be flexible.
